Privacy Policy
The Short Version
TechTools365 is a static website. We don't have user accounts, signup forms, comment sections, or newsletters. We don't collect your name, email, or any personally-identifying information. The only data flowing anywhere is what your browser shares with our hosting provider for delivery, plus what Google's services collect via the analytics and ads scripts we embed (same as nearly every site on the modern web).
What Data is Collected, by Whom
1. Cloudflare (Hosting / CDN)
Our sites are served by Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare logs your IP address, the page you requested, your browser's User-Agent string, and a timestamp. This is standard server-log data used for security (DDoS protection, abuse prevention) and performance optimisation. Cloudflare's privacy policy governs this. We do not have access to individual user records — only aggregate traffic analytics.
2. Google AdSense (Display Advertising)
We display ads on this site through Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure their performance:
- DoubleClick / DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visit history across the web
- Frequency-cap cookies — to avoid showing the same ad repeatedly
- Conversion tracking — to measure ad effectiveness for the advertisers
You can opt out of personalised ads at Google's Ads Settings page. EU/UK/UAE residents can also use the EDAA opt-out tool for industry-wide opt-out.

3. Google Analytics (Traffic Measurement)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (which tools are popular, where readers come from, mobile vs desktop). GA4 collects page views, session duration, approximate location (country / region only, IP-anonymised), device type, browser, OS, and referrer. GA4 does not store full IP addresses by default and does not allow us to identify individual visitors.
You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
4. Affiliate-network Cookies (Set When You Click an Outbound Affiliate Link)
When you click one of our affiliate links — currently NordVPN or Proton — the affiliate network (Impact, in both cases) sets a tracking cookie that lets the merchant know we sent you. The cookie persists for 30–90 days. If you sign up within that window, we earn a commission. The cookie does not let us see what you do on the merchant's site — only the merchant sees that.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not have user accounts, so there is no profile linked to you
- We do not collect email addresses, run a newsletter, or have signup forms
- We do not have a comment section or any user-generated content
- We do not store calculator inputs on our servers — every calculator runs entirely in your browser; numbers stay local
- We do not store visa-checker queries on our servers — your passport selection / destination is never sent to us
- We do not sell or share your data with anyone except as described above (Cloudflare for hosting, Google for ads/analytics, affiliate networks for referral tracking)

You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies entirely, which will disable AdSense personalisation and affiliate tracking on this site.
Your Rights (GDPR / UAE PDPL / CCPA)
If you're in a jurisdiction with data-protection rights (EU, UK, UAE, California, etc.), you have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold (we hold no personal data linked to you, but you can request our server logs filtered by IP)
- Request deletion of any data we hold
- Opt out of personalised advertising (use Google Ads Settings or block third-party cookies)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority
To exercise these rights, email us with your request.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in EU jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We update this policy when we change tools, add new affiliate networks, or change ad providers. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
